| 内容記述 | 近年日本のキリスト教会で用いられるようになってきた「ミニストリー」という言葉は、新約聖書に由来し、「必要を満たす働き」という意味を持つ。本研究では宗教教育学で一般的に受け入れられている「スピリチュアリティー」という言葉の定義をシニアミニストリーにおいて高齢者の必要を知る上で有用であると位置付ける。またスピリチュアリティーを知る術として質的研究方法、特グレイザーとストラウスによって提唱されたグラウンデッドセオリーを用いる。グラウンデッドセオリーとは、推論に頼らず、研究対象者から得た直接的なデータに根ざした理論の形成を目指す方法論のことである。更に本研究では米国の日系人高齢者を対象にして実施したライフストーリーに関する研究と、日本のクリスチャンの老後観の形成に関する研究を、グラウンデッドセオリーを用いた具体例として挙げ、ミニストリーにおける質的研究の方法の有用性を検証する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Fulfilling one's needs is a meaning of the word `ministry,' and this sense of the term has its origin in the Greek New Testament. This study will draw on the concept of `spirituality' as it is commonly defined in the field of religious education, and view it as a useful notion for engaging in ministry. This study will also use grounded theory (the qualitative research method introduced by Strauss and Corbin) as a research tool for knowing people's needs in ministry. Two research examples utilizing grounded theory are also presented in this study in an attempt to demonstrate the usefulness of the research method. The two research examples are (1) Japanese elderly Christian women and their life stories and (2), Japanese Christians' views of their elderly life. | |||||
