| 内容記述 | 「人が体と魂と霊で構成されるように,聖書のみことばにも「体」と「魂」と「霊」 という三つの意味がある,とオリゲネスは『諸原理について』で論じる。歴史的な,意味である「体」よりも,「魂」と「霊」に対応する霊的な意味の方が重要でありその霊的な意味を読み取るには,聖書を寓喩的に解釈する必要がある。オリゲネスが雅歌全体を寓喩的に解釈したことは余りにも有名である。ローマ書の場合には個々の単語や句などを寓喩的に解釈することはあっても,書全体を寓喩的に解釈することはない。昨今の新約学の視点のように,パウロがユダヤ人と異邦人を仲介するという視点を強調して,オリゲネスはローマ書を注解しながら,マルキオン,グノーシス主義などの異端を論駁している。オリゲネスは一般的に寓喩的聖書解釈を重要視したが,ローマ書は,神学的な内容の手紙であるので,寓喩的に解釈する必要がなく,より歴史的に本文を釈義することに専念したと思われる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Origen argues for allegorical interpretation of the Scripture in his On`,First Principles. He considers that the three meanings of the `body'the `soul' and the `spirit' are found in the Bible just as human beings consist of the body, the spirit and the soul. For the latter two meanings it is indispensable to interpret the Scripture allegorically. He interprets the whole Song of Songs allegorically. However, in the case of Romans, he reads it more historically. While individual expressions are occasionally interpreted allegorically, Romans on the whole is approached historically.He understands Paul as an arbiter of Jews and Gentiles. He argues against Marcion and Gnosticism when he interprets the text of Romans. Since Paul's epistle to the Romans is a theological letter, he considers it appropriate to.interpret it historically rather than allegorically. | |||||
